By commissioning me you agree to the following:
Pricing and Quantities:
- The base price is $50. However, depending on the amount of changes request, that price may go up. Any change in price will be at my discretion.
Process:
Any alterations in textures, colors, fonts, quantities and/or features must be requested in advance.
- Upon commissioning me I will require a detailed description of what you want.
- I highly recommend (and may require, depending on complexity) a drawing depicting land mass, city and country locations and any points of interest (it doesn't have to be a good drawing). Any details not provided I will include as I think they are needed (i.e. rivers, lakes, mountains)
- For 3D maps I will send you a 2d picture of the continent with the mountains, rivers and lakes for your approval.
- Once the continent shape and details have been worked out I will send another picture with the country, city, road and points of interest locations.
- After the locations are agreed upon I will send a download link with a watermarked version for you to approve. After which I will send you a final download link.
-DISCLAIMER: If I feel as though there are too many alterations being made (usually more than two) during the last three steps I may increase the price due to the amount of extra work time.-
Rights:
- You may upload the work anywhere for any non-commercial use, crediting me is not required but it is appreciated.
- You may not reproduce the work to be sold or otherwise used for financial gain in any form unless agreed upon in writing, in advance. --Contact me about including a map in a book or website.--
- You may edit the work in any way, as long as my watermark remains and I am properly credited as the original artist.
- I reserve the rights to use, sell, and otherwise distribute the work, such as for self-promotion on social media. An additional charge will be added if you want the work to be kept private.
- All maps provided will have my copyright line in the bottom righthand corner of the splash screen. This will not be removed unless agreed upon.
Canceling:
- You may cancel your commission at any time, but I reserve the right to use the unfinished art in any way, including resale. If the work is more than halfway completed, only half the commission price will be reimbursed. The halfway point will be decided at my discretion.
- I have the right to cancel a commission for any reason, in which case I will provide a full refund.
Quality:
I am an indie developer and therefore don't have the resources to test my programs across a wide variety of machines. Because of this, I cannot guarantee the quality of graphics and performance of my map on your computer. Each machine is unique with varying specs and hardware. That being said, if you like the quality and performance of the demo than it is likely that you will get the same from the one I make for you, although I cannot guarantee that.
